2016: GeerTop is Born
Chris and Anna, two seasoned outdoor enthusiasts, founded GeerTop in 2016 out of frustration with the lack of affordable yet high-standard camping gear on the market. Driven by the belief that quality outdoor equipment should be accessible to all, they set out to create a brand that marries reliability, performance, and value.
2017: Factory Found
In 2017, GeerTop established its own factory, ensuring that our core commitment to quality is woven into every product. Here, each tent is built to endure, undergoing over sixty tests—from storm simulations to detailed seam inspections—with fabrics hand-selected by our artisans. This discipline is how we create gear that doesn’t just meet, but exceeds the demands of the outdoors, empowering you to explore with confidence.
GeerTop in the Himalayas
GeerTop’s journey began with the Navigator—a professional mountaineering tent engineered to withstand the world’s harshest conditions. It proved its strength at 6,840 meters on Chongra Peak, where the Belgian expedition "Lad from the Green Land" relied on it through Himalayan storms. That climb did more than test a tent; it defined GeerTop’s promise: to build gear that stands where the wild begins.
