The floor is 82.6 in long, so campers up to roughly 6 ft sleep comfortably with room for a pillow and a stuff sack at the head. At 55 in wide it takes two standard 20 in pads side by side with a little space between; two wide pads will meet in the middle. Headroom is 45 in, enough to sit fully upright and pull on trousers or cook in the doorway on a wet morning.

Two doors, two porches

Weather protection, and what it is actually for

The PU 3000 mm rainfly has fully taped seams and a snow skirt, over a breathable inner mesh tent. It is built for rain, wind, cold, and moderate snow through all four seasons, and it handles winter camping at reasonable elevations well. It is not an expedition tent for sustained high altitude storms or heavy snow loading. If that is your trip, look at a mountaineering model instead.

Ventilation and condensation

Two large mesh panels and dual-zipper doors keep air moving, which is what keeps condensation off your sleeping bag. On cold, still, humid nights every double-wall tent will collect some moisture on the inside of the fly. Crack both doors a few inches and it largely resolves itself.
