"waterproof" means every external fabric is treated with our high-performance polyurethane coating, and all seams are meticulously tape-sealed right out of the bag. The "mm" (millimeter) rating you see indicates the coating's waterproof capability. For example, a 1500mm rating can endure the pressure equivalent to a 1500mm-high water column for over a minute without a single leak. This level of protection is robust enough to keep you dry even in exceptionally heavy rainfall.

Most Geertop camping tents utilize high-quality aluminum poles and are constructed with silicone or PU-coated 20-40D nylon/polyester fabric for the rainfly. This combination is designed to achieve an optimal balance between strength and weight efficiency, while providing resistance to UV exposure and heavy rainfall. • For Long-Term Storage:Choose a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.​​

Storing a damp tent is one of the quickest ways to cause irreversible damage. In warm conditions, mildew can develop in under 24 hours, leading to severe discoloration and compromising the waterproof coatings by making them separate from the fabric. Please be aware that mildew stains are permanent; they cannot be safely removed and are not covered under warranty.To prevent this, ensure your tent is completely dry before packing it away. After wiping it down, hang it in a shaded, airy space or lay it loosely indoors for a day or two. Remember to flip it inside out to air all surfaces. Avoid machine drying, as the heat can permanently damage the material.
